![]() ![]() This is our story and we should get to define it. Yeah we shoudnt get them at the start but I sure as hell don't want them late game either There's to many people wanting the curses to be restricted to cutscenes/ special moments or lore obsessed because the curses are op who cares let us use them by all means have consequences but don't make them so dire it makes using them tedious and no the 3 unforgiveables aren't just used by dark witches and wizards there for extreme situations or for practicality well the killing curse and imperious anyway. I think we should be able to use them when ever we want to. We could be pointed in other directions traverse a dungeon to get said spell or item I'm not saying we should just be able to get the spells as easily as COS game. I'm hoping that the unforgiveables are not tied to story and the game will offer multiple sources to learn them and other spells from. Imagine even one use of the unforgiveables permanently locks you out of the patronus."Oh but it would fall in line with canon and be an appropriate punishment" but very restricting and every time you see dementors or aurors you would be endlessly on the run which would be a massive pain in the ass. You may even strongly disagree with this but for this type of game I believe all options should be available regardless of morality and if you feel like being able to cast both patronus and the unforgiveables is to OP (I mean yes it is)well this is a game and placing a traditional morality system would massively hinder gameplay. I personally love this I'm so sick and tired of black and white consequence systems.I should not be locked out of aspects because I chose one option over another. ![]() It will depend on the choices you make through dialogue or when engaging the world around you. So no stupid meter telling me I'm to good or evil or locking me out aspects of the game because I've strayed to far from the path of light and gone to the dark side or I'm to much of a goody 2 shoes and apparently don't have the will/intent to cast unforgiveables. It's been confirmed that there will be no traditional morality tracking system like other games. ![]()
